HMS / Saleen Mustang 2007 Project Stang

  In December  2006, HaneyMotorSport took delivery of our new 2007 Mustang GT. The new S197
model has become one of the hottest American sports car ever built. And with that, one of the
most popular cars to "upgrade" from its stock form. So, what should we do?  Well, since Haney's
 "me" have been crazy about Saleen's styling and performance since the late 80's, there is no second
guess! We placed a phone call to Carlos at Saleen to let him know we purchased a new project
Stang. After a short conversation, the deal was done. HMS and Saleen Performance teamed up to
build the ultimate Mustang. We will be pulling parts from the Saleen S281 / Extreme and all New PJ
 Saleen parts bins to build this awesome beast!

All of us at HMS would like to thank Carlos and the whole Saleen team for putting this together!

On January 26th we dropped off the HMS Stang at Saleen

The Saleen team wasted no time in diving into the project.....
We were down to Saleen on Feb. 7th 2007 to pick up a stock order and to check out the project stang. Well, Saleen is making great progress!
